With a background in photography foundation from Marylin Zimmerman during my collage studies at Wayne State University, I’ve developed a wide portfolio of digital and analog work. These paintings have been featured in UnSplash and documentaries. My photography, which focuses on Detroit and small company owners’ and product, shows the essence of urban life as well as the tenacity of local entrepreneurs. Through my lens, I hope to highlight the beauty and uniqueness of the Motor City, as well as the necessity of supporting small businesses’ products and personalities. My love of storytelling motivates me to keep discovering and recording the dynamic culture and people that make Detroit special. I hope that my art inspires others to appreciate and support the city’s growth and rebirth.
